Sometimes we are asked to customise our flashings to fit particular situations – and we are always happy to oblige!
A customer was in the process of completing a single story extension to an existing two-story home, and wanted to know if the flashings could be modified to allow the windows to sit flush against the two-story building walls.
A Velux® FCM1430 window was to be installed on the roof abutting the wall of two story building, so the flashing required an up-turn so sit flush against the wall.
A Velux® FCM2230 window was also be be installed on the same roof, but abutting two walls, so the flashing required an upturn on two sides to sit flush against these walls.
